And for the Question, perhaps Blue Oyster Cult's "Hammer Back" fits his paranoid vigilante persona well: "Maybe at a 7-11 Maybe at quick car jack You'll verify there ain't a heaven If you don't keep the hammer back!
Keep the hammer back, hammer back! Don't keep the safety on..."
I prefer to emphasize my inquisitive side over my 'paranoid' side. It's more important, and besides, the paranoia is merely a consequence of the former.
I think "The Seeker" by the Who would be most appropriate.
"I've looked under chairs I've looked under tables I've tried to find the key To fifty million fables They call me the Seeker I've been searching low and high I won't get to get what I'm after Til the day I die"
And of course there's this bit: "People tend to hate me 'cuz I never smile..."
"They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far."

I’ve been thinking on it some and I came up with some songs for some of the other characters here.
Captain America: Real American
This was Hulk Hogan’s old tune and I think it speaks for the man.
When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside you gotta take a stand it don't help to hide if you hurt my friends then you hurt my pride i gotta be a man i cant let it slide
I am a real American fight for the rights of every man I am a real American fight for what's right fight for your life
I feel strong about right and wrong and i don't take trouble for very long Ive got something deep inside of me courage is the thing that keeps us free
I am a real American fight for the rights of every man I am a real American fight for what's right fight for your life
If you hurt my friends then you hurt my pride I gotta be a man i cant let it slide
I am a real American fight for the rights of every man I am a real American fight for what's right fight for your life
For Deadpool and the Joker: They’re Coming To Take Me Away by Napoleon XIV
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!! They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!
Another for Elizabeth Bradshaw: “Whatever” by Our Lady Peace
There's no holding me back I'm not driven by fear I'm just driven by anger And you're under attack I'm just climbing up slowly I'm the one and only, I...
The tease, the ways you lie They stumble in your mind The fear, the hope inside They hit here
But whatever you need -Ever you got -Ever you want I’ll take back again Whatever you need -Ever you got -Ever you want now I’ll take back again
There's no holding me back I'm not driven by fear I'm just driven by anger And you're under attack I'm just climbing up slowly I'm the one and only, I...
The tease, the ways you lie They stumble in your mind The fear, the hope inside They hit here
But whatever you need -Ever you got -Ever you want now I’ll take back again
And for the Kansas City Ice Machine: “A Country Boy Can Survive” by Hank Williams Jr.
Because you can’t starve us out And you cant makes us run Cause we’re them old boys raisin on shotguns. And we say grace and we say Ma’am And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn

I don't know if this is still relevent, considering the post if from Aug 5.
I feel that my character's theme could not be one song. Every character is special in their own way. Everything that they go through good and bad could actually have a song that fits it.
For example, if a hero (or villian for that matter), if going through a on and off relationship, he or she may be inclinded to have the theme of:
"Never Say Never" By The Fray
"Somethings we don't talk about, Rather do without and just hold the smile, falling in and out of love....to gather all the while."
Or possibly if the hero is just getting his head bashed in a fight with his arch-enemy, then all of a sudden his has that moment of clarity and just starts returning the favor. A song for that would be:
"Headstrong" By Trapt
"Back on, to take you on, headstrong to take on anyone"
Also, what would the theme be representing? Would it represent your personality, past experiences, goals, etc.? Every single little detail could have a song put to it, or at least wrtten about it.
However I die-gress. As I wrote this little munch of words, I thought of a few possible canidates. The final verdict ended up being:
"To Be Loved" By Papa Roach (In context of his hate for evil, and his need to be loved and acccepted.)
